Andro Tomić is one of the few university-educated oenologists among the winemakers of his generation. He spent twenty years away from Hvar, the island where he was born, continuously perfecting his knowledge of grapes and wines.

This first rate oenologist and wine expert, who had left the vineyards and the family wine cellar to study agronomy and become assistant at the Department of Viticulture at the Faculty of Agriculture, has also spent time studying in France and was able to choose where to apply his extensive knowledge and experience gained.
